When I used to live in Exeter and working quite close by, made it more tempting to get a nice chippy dinner for myself! After a long day at work, it was a nice little treat! Something to fill you up. A reason to not cook after a stressful day in retail. The smell was mouth watering, always a nostalgic smell! Always reminded me of going on holiday and getting chips by the sea. Going to the counter to order, always greeted warmly by the staff! Always really nice chaps, friendly and helpful. My go to was always the large cheesy chips, jumbo battered sausage and a pot of curry sauce. There is tables inside, where you can wait for your food to be prepared. The price was always really good as well. They were always generous in their servings. The chips were some of my favourite in Exeter! The curry sauce was always good as well! The menu was always packed with amazing food! If it wasn't for my go to, I would be stumped for what to choose. Really need to pop in again at some point, really good chips! It's been a good few years now but I can't imagine it has changed too much! I will make a special trip in at some point!

You should definitely walk in before ordering. Very dirty joint. I went in and was very skeptical considering how the place looks, but the owner reassured me that he's the best in Exeter (self proclaimed)so thoughtI'dgive it a try. Definitely worst fish and chips I had ever had, chips stone hard and garlic sauce was spoiled from staying in the heat all day. At least I didn't get sick.Never buying again.

Absulutly disgusting customer service will never order from here again if this is how they treat customers so me and my partner ordered 2 meals and only one turns up. I phoned the restaurant and told them what was missing but got my meal wrong so they told me to check the order again and phone back so i did and admitted i got muddled but was still missing an item the guy acted like he couldnt ever make a mistake which i believe the driver gave the meal to someone else but the guy i spoke to wouldnt even consider it being his staffs fault and called me a liar about 3 times and told me he had no time for liars i couldnt get a word in without being called a liar. The worst part is the meal that did turn up had plastic in that my partner almost ate.
