Came here with some family members for a birthday meal recently. The chef was very passionate about the food and gave us a detailed description of the specials board and the origins of each dish which was a great extra touch. We unfortunately had an awkward customer with us on the night but the staff and chef were very patient and handled it very well even offering to cook something specific that wasn't on the menu to accommodate them. The food itself was superb and is definitely worth a visit. Thanks for your patience with us on the night.
Classic italian restaurant with a great history of being one of the landmarks of the italian food in Devon, decades long loyal customers return confirms this establishment as an important part of private ownership and tradition that, regardless the advance of corporate catering and franchising, confirms itself as a true love letter to Italian culinary.

Cannot recommend Quo Vadis highly enough. The food is incredible and delicious with a huge range of options. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. But the best part is the staff. Especially Oliver who is so friendly and entertaining and happy to sit with you and have a drink and chat, and often lets us sample his home-made drinks and treats. I have been 5 times in 6 months and every time has been 5/5. The best italian restaurant I've been to in the UK. Cannot recommend it more highly!
