Excellent gun shop. Unlike the alternative gun shop in Exeter, the Heavitree Gun and Sport, is run by expert gunsmith's who are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Thoroughly recommended.
Really good to deal with. When I had an issue with an air rifle they refunded my money with no question and gave me a fantastic deal on a different gun. Can't beat their prices on the internet.
Very traditional
Have purchased guns and equipment here for years. Always helpful and courteous.... large range of equipment and accessories great place to purchase your equipment.... Recently bought an air rifle for target shooting and they couldn’t be more helpful. Very knowledgable staff. Easy parking around the back of the shop in a small but cheap pay and display
Been in over the course of about six years to buy stuff, ask questions and get a repair... not sure what happened with the Google review rating but I'm pretty sure it used to be much lower, maybe they changed their online name or something. All the old reviews are gone and only new, nice ones are shown. They have a decent selection of stock and relatively good pricing - hence the two stars - but they've always been rude and generally unhelpful, they don't seem to like customers, making sales or providing information on products! Took in an air rifle for repair, was told they'd call me in a couple of weeks, after a bit over a month I called up to find out the situation and was told they couldn't fix it but still wanted to charge me... fine if you can't fix it, but when you are being paid to fix something and keep someone updated, this is pretty terrible customer service not bothering to call the back.
Maybe there is another person who works there who's better but I've always encountered the same unfriendly guy. I've heard similar from friends who've been there for fishing and shooting kit so I'm pretty sure it's not just that he took a disliking to me. Last went in a December '16. I'll probably be back in there again at some point since there aren't many options round here... if anything changes so will my review.
