The stores are down, only one is up. The grass was too high to understand where they were exactly. I walked more than one hour to arrive here, not easy to reach at all.

The stone circles on the OS maps to the East of the tor are not Sittaford Stone circle. The real one isn't on the map - probably because it was only discovered in 2007 - and is located to the south west of the tor. It is difficult to spot as all the stones are lying down rather than standing. To find it follow the line of the SW wall for 350 metres until it disappears. At the 350m mark you will find a small upright marker stone on your right. Walk 20m due west to find the circle which is 32m in diameter.

Easy to miss... Would combine it with Grey wethers which is super close to make it worth while

Lovely stone circle on the opposite side of the Tor to Grey Wethers. All the stones are recumbent so it's hard to see at first. Go across the Tor from the Fernworthy direction then cross the wall and keep going down the hill. It's slightly on your right. Beware the tussocks of grass as it can be hard going
