When I went with big pain in my shoulder, doctor asked me what happened, I told him all information and how long I have this pain, on finish HE asked me what to do next. Am I doctor? I am coming there to get help, I said I should have picture of everything inside, because pain is somewhere between mussels. Told him painkillers not working and pain is terrible every day. He said we definitely can't do picture and I have to take Paracetamol. This was creepy joke, if you wanted to be doctor for money - good job, you did it, because you know nothing about helping people. Thank goodness I went to other doctor and straight I got appointment to hospital because was bad like that. Completely disgusting sercice.

Very disappointed with the results of a recent appointment. Apparently I have had a hiatus hernia since last March when I saw a practice nurse and went for an urgent xray, waited for the results, nothing so assumed it was clear, I now learn that the surgery tried to contact me but was not successful, I have a answer phone or a letter would work but am told that they could not contact me so nothing happened. I have progressively suffered from shortness of breath since then and it was in desperation I saw another doctor on Friday who immediately decided to write to the hospital for an appointment for me. I would really like to know why there was no follow up to the effort to contact me? This has shaken my faith in the NHS and my local surgery.

Atrocious, asked for a repeat prescription for my daughter. I was forced to listen to a lengthy rant (for want of a better word) about the downfall of the NHS and how I should buy the medicine my daughter needed over the counter rather than get a prescription. We pay tax and NI, I didn't expect to be spoken to like this. The receptionist continued to argue her point and made it very difficult to get a call back from a doctor.

Very long waiting times and delay (once over an hour, usually at least 40 minutes). GPs prescribe Aspirin for nearly everything, while taking a cold and non-personal approach with the patient. Rude secretary refusing to help with getting a repeat prescription for medicine that is meant to be taken several weeks in a row. The only positive side is the genuinely friendly and caring approach of the nurse practitioners.

Logistically shocking, no continuity, no record of my midwife appointments. Yet they want to preach at me because despite no risks, they want to induce me 2 days earlier than anywhere else in the UK....because it's they're procedure. Absolutely bonkers. Will be changing surgery before my daughter needs to see someone. The receptionist had to be told three times that polio is an oral vaccine not injected, when I was discussing my daughter coming in for a tetanus jab. She was telling me it was in the same jab, which is actually diphtheria. Perhaps she should have remembered her job was just to book people's appointments.
