Feel the passage of time. An unusual mix of Norman Church and neolithic henge...set in the beautiful landscape of Cranborne Chase. Not a lot of parking so get there late or early or be prepared for some faff.

A fascinating place, tucked away in the middle of nowhere (well nearly!)... a Church ruin, in the middle of an ancient religious site - the Church ruin is so picturesque and there is something mystical about this place... check out the tree at the far side... well worth a visit if you're nearby!

I grew up around this area and never really paid Knowlton much attention until recently, with its ancient history and ghost stories it's a fascinating little place to visit and a hidden gem of the Dorset countryside
