I had a short visit here a few months ago and had a walk around the grounds. The house is open a couple of days a week (as advertised on the HHA website) and there is a conducted tour that can be done as well. Within the grounds is a church (Church of St. Nicholas). The house was originally built in the late 16th century with later additions and alterations.
