Less well known than other local spots so usually quiet. Great views. Choice of circular walks, short and longer. Mix of fields, woods and hills; number of stepped ups/downs. Lovely sloped wooded areas. Good for dogs but on lead around sheep.

Super country park with car park for about 25 cars. Good walking routes and hills. Great views and chalk pits to explore the little ones. Good family place

Absolutely beautiful scenery! Good with older kids as they can roam freely, there is a gate all around so no worries about your child getting lost. Only downsides are: stinging nettles are everywhere and sheep poo. Haha it was dry so we weren’t too worried! Lovely breeze at the top and all in all a beautiful day out with the munchkins!!

If you head East across the fields you eventually end up in a wood. If you keep going you can make it to Sharpenhoe Clappers. This is a great walk for someone with a few hours to spend.
