Fantastic place for fish, they really know how to cook all kinds of seafood well. Staff are lovely too. Highly recommended.
I am going to give this 4 stars, because I went in with high expectations for the food and the service. After being seated we waited over 20 minutes before we were asked about our order. It was busy, but not that busy you wouldn’t ignore a table.
The food was good, but not outstanding. As this is also doubles a cookery school I expected bigger favours and more interesting menu.
I would say it was good, but not great.
Solid - decent meal. Good value for money. Food was fine but nothing remarkable. Service polite but a bit slow. At a busy tourist time this was a decent choice but the other reviews on here over hype it a bit.
Very impressed with how they managed to keep tables apart, offer hydro-alcoholic gel, staff wear gloves and face shields. You do feel safe during those unprecedented times having dinner there. This is the second time we go there and I don't think I will ever try another restaurant in Rye next time we visit. We had 3 course meal which was spot on from start to finish. The kids finished all their plates, the staff was extremely friendly to them and offered some activities and crayons to keep them busy.
Lovely Restaurant. Great selection of dishes and not to expensive. If I was slightly picky I would have liked a little bit more decor to break up the plain walls. Book as this place gets busy!
