Great historical place, kids love it here. We visited during Easter and there was a King wandering round giving out 'gold' coins to kids that solved the Easter clues. Lots of fun. Very good at engaging and communicating the history. Can be quite windy as it's exposed so wrap up warm.

I think this is a hidden gem, no matter what the weather you can travel up there and take the dog for a walk. Over looking Salisbury including the cathedral its beautiful. Then there is the history that surrounds it. The only issue is parking. If the castle is closed then there is only 2 parking spots just outside the gate.

Friendly and very helpful staff. good place to take children as lots of information for them and also lots of space for them to run around. Amazing views over Salisbury and plenty of space for picnics. Shop also sells ice cream and hot drinks.

Stunning site. One of Britain's most impressive Iron Age hillforts. The medieval city of Salisbury grew up here with a cathedral, before it moved to the riverside. Fascinating ruins of castle and cathedral. Great views. Friendly staff. Could do with catering.

Quite nice ruins and historical site. Narrow road to small car park but managed just to get our motorhome up their. Parking for about 40 cars. Two options pay £7 each to go in side ruins (free if your a member) or walk around the outside for free 👍. It’s on top of a hill so very exposed, if cold you need to wrap up warm.
