My wife and I had a lovely meal here last night. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and explained the way the menu works very clearly. All aspects of the meal were excellent - even wrestling the lobster (not literally ;) ) between us was an interesting exercise. Thankfully finger bowls and plenty of napkins were provided. The selection of wines, cocktails and aperitifs were first class too. We're looking forward to a return visit very soon.

Fantastic! Service was great, the restaurant has a real nice feel to it and the food was 1st class. We had the popcorn cockles to start which were tasty, fresh and perfectly cooked with a tasty dip. We both had the salted aged rib eye steak which was tender and so tasty. Personally I would prefer chunky chips to French fries, but the veg was tasty. Thanks to shellfish and cow for a really enjoyable evening.

Lovely restaurant. Food was delicious and staff were excellent - friendly, natural and attentive without being overbearing. Really nice evening.

Really amazing food and awesome service from the staff. It's a small place with about 8 tables at the moment (because if covid) and very dark lighting. They serve plates of different shell fish with your choice of marinade and a large selection of steaks of all ages and cuts. The sides are quite basic with fries, salad and steamed veg. The price was pretty high as our meal of 4 dishes, a side, wine and coffee came to about £125 and to be honest we could have had another dish or two but the experience was special and I'm still thinking about those prawns!
