I travelled from Bridgend just to come here with my girlfriend. And I can't say I was disappointed at all. The atmosphere was lovely in the restaurant, and it is very cosy. The staff cannot do enough for you here and are very friendly and accommodating. During these uncertain times you really feel safe here as they do the track and trace also.
The food was outstanding. As you can see from the pictures the one meal came out on a shovel!! Yes a shovel!!! The chips were seasoned and stunning, and my ribeye was cooked to perfection. 🙏 As for my desert I tried the famous "fried ice cream" I was a little hesitant at first. But as soon as I had the first mouth full I was happy I ordered it. It was that good my girlfriend ordered one after trying a little of mine.
Safe to say I will be returning with my family to have another meal here.

Went to the Mine for my daughters birthday and everything was excellent from the waitress staff to the cooking well done and keep it up. Really enjoyable!!

Went to The Mine last night with a few friends and a baby (not my first visit) and once again had the best time. Atmosphere was Christmassy and cosy and staff were extremely welcoming and helpful! The baby was given Christmas activities to play with and enjoyed the Christmas lights. The food was outstanding as always and we all felt safe with the COVID rules - we can’t wait to go again! Thanks for a brilliant Saturday night @theminecwm.
