Well I would give them a bad review for service...if I had had any! Made an appointment for them to come and measure up the bathroom, quote for a complete refurbishment. Waited in all day for someone who never turned up. No phone call, no excuses, nothing. Considering they do not employ their own fitters, they contract out locally, you might as well get them to design it for free, then take the job to a local contractor rather than pay their mark up

Smallish showroom on a small estate on the outskirts of Southport on the main road to Ormskirk. Nice displays of kitchens and bathrooms. We were most impressed that an induction hob, which we were seeking, was wired up and the salesman helpfully gave us a full demonstration (impressed). He went out of his way to discuss with us, ovens, units and worktops. There was no pressure to sell/buy and we left feeling enlightened and likely to return for a full kitchen replacement.

I just designed and ordered my new kitchen from them. Ben couldn't have been more helpful and was flexible on prices whilst making sure I got what I wanted. If they offer you a coffee go for one from the kettle as the coffee machine is not as good but that's a minor point. I just hope the kitchen hits the spot when it's installed too.

Excellent fitter (Stuart), quality units. Abysmal scheduling and service. £200 of parts paid for and not used. Wickes will not take back or refund. BEWARE IF USING WICKES!!!

Awful service and aftercare. Ben the 'design specialist' told me my kitchen looked ok compared to others he had seen who had a much worse finish and I should be happy, well Ben I'm not happy when I paid over £2000 for what you said would be a showroom finish/fit. Gaps, visible screws, sagging cabinets and when they come out to do remedial work they scratch cabinets and deny doing it. Steer well clear if you want to keep your sanity. 18 months later I'm still waiting for a final outcome/settlement agreement
