We ordered our bed in July to be delivered on 29th as we moved into a new house. We were told on 28th Sept that the bed wouldn't be coming and we would need to wait a further 6 weeks for delivery. The attitude of the manager at the Southport store was disgraceful although other members of staff were more helpful. I then became ill with COVID and consequently has to spend two weeks extremely ill on a camp bed as our bed had not been delivered. Eventually after contacting Customer Services we were sent a blow up bed which last two weeks before losing it's shape and becoming impossible to sleep on. I emailed Customer Services regarding this but received no reply. Eventually the bed arrived on November 22nd and the team that assembled it were very helpful. I would not recommend Benson's to anyone as I feel that there was absolutely no sense of urgency regarding our complaint even when the ordering error was yours.

Poor aftersales service. I bought a mattress in store for close to £1,000, yet within a couple of days its price had dropped by £100. My mattress wasn't even due to be delivered for over a month. I contacted their customer service to ask if they would give me a refund or credit note for the difference, only to be fobbed off in an email that sounded like it has been written by a child.

Great service! Until I checked the receipt and found out that the "Free service plan" the sales colleague gave me wasn't free! Cancelled my order and went else where.

Poor!!! Paid in full and was given a delivery date of 28 March.. this date arrived, unlike my bed. Called the branch to enquire only to be told " sorry, that hasn't been processed" and I would have to wait a further 2 months. The TV within the bed was short of specifications also.. spoke to branch told me to call customer services, called customer services and I was told " sorry, we don't see what the problem is".. avoid, I will be!!

Went to Southport BENSONS for beds were Dave the assistant was eager to sell us a bed after realising the bed was not suitable for my disabled son I phoned and cancelled Dave was not very happy and told me I would have to pay 20% cost for canceling he told me did I not read the t&c to which I told him you didn't give me the t&c untill after the transaction very poor customer service avoid at all costs will be going to ombudsman
