Efes grill has been a significant takeaway in the heart of Newport for over 10 years. It's a spot where people usually go to order food and be greeted by the amazing, hardworking team after a night out in The Port. It's not only the food you can go here for, but the kind and memorable experience of laughter and enjoyment while you wait for your meal. It also has been giving a hygiene rating of 5 and is immaculate every time you walk in there.

Haven't been for a while, but had my favourite, the full mix on Sunday night. It easily feeds a hungry family of four, possibly five if you have little ones. Honestly, it's like a round of the Generation Game trying to remember all the variety of meat you get in there. A quail, lamb chops, chicken wings, chicken and lamb shish, lamb kofte, loads of mixed doner meat all laid out on a bed of rice. Accompanying that lot was a big mixed salad, about a yard of their amazing flat bread and pots of garlic and very spicy chili sauce. If that wasn't enough, a creamy rice pudding was thrown in. There's only one thing better than eating that lot, and that's the leftovers for lunchtime the next day. All the smoky meat juices have soaked into the rice and the chilli marinade gets right into those juicy wings. So, people of Newport, if you have to make an essential journey over the next few weeks, make sure you make it here.

Absolutely appaulled! Goes im to buy a burger meal Was told it was £5.80 as a meal with drink included by the owner collegue, as soon as the owner come in the shop he carried on serving me to be told I had to pay £6.50 . This is false advertisements and I will be calling trading standards, I no its only 70p extra but imagine how many more customer's he does this too.

Food is always cooked perfectly and exactly to your specification. Always arrives hot and very quickly. Staff are very friendly and always clean and presentable. Highly recommend.
