Although only open for takeaways their social distancing is very good you are allowed inside the shop wearing masks 2 metre. We had fish and chips batter really crispy and plenty of chips. Really tasty and would recommend!
Just adding to what my wife has already written. We have visited Franco's for the past two years, and were saddened to see that it had to close because of a fire. To be honest, I personally didn't think it would re-open, especially with the Covid 19 issue added. Last week, when we drove past the restaurant, we were both delighted to see that it was up and running once again, and last night, visited there for a meal. Everything was as it was before, great food and very friendly staff. The restaurant has had a total makeover and it looks better than before (which looked good anyway!) and we certainly will be regular customers again in the future. Thanks Franco (and staff of course)
Fantastic chip shop! Highly highly recommend! All staff are friendly and as helpful as possible. Prices are extremely reasonable given the quality of the food. The place was delightful to be in even before the renovation and now it is simply bliss.
Lovely seeing this fish shop open after fire/Covid...Franco and his staff are exceptional with their friendliness and attention to detail with all their customers...nothing is ever too much trouble and all the ‘waiting’ staff are polite, efficient and attention with cleanliness spot on.. The food is of the very highest of standards, always freshly cooked, piping hot and generous portions...prices are very reasonable too..
We visit here at least twice a month and I can highly recommend this establishment. We wish you every continuing success...the refurbishment is lovely.

Franco's is fantastic, amazing food, generous portions and at a great price. And they have even made it safe during these times with indoor waiting that is spaced out. Really quick service too.
