Great old pub - good beer, food and people
Rooms are big but mould and dirt in Alot of places. Terrible bathroom with mould on blinds and not clean.
The bar area is office / bar and drinks poor.
Food was OK to be fair just the whole bar and restaurant wasn't quirky it was derelict.
Smoke and dust smell everywhere.
Finally the noise is horrendous from the road and area.
Nice people though but skipped breakfast and got out as soon as the car park was unlocked.
Fantastic place. Stayed overnight while on a trip. The building is homely and warm and the staff make you feel incredibly welcome.
The room was wonderful as was the breakfast. Very reasonably priced.
I would absolutely stay again and recommend.
Nice clean rooms. The staff are excellent, especially Terrie! So welcoming and chatty, the bar is amazing!
Friendly staff, good food, could do with a wider range of ales.
