I can’t fault the team in Redhill Safestore. They go out of their way to help and are courteous, professional and knowledgeable. 10/10. However, be warned, Safestore increase their prices once they have you in their grips. I received a letter informing me that my unit was increasing by 15% a month (£44 a month). They cited this was due to an “increase in costs”. How can there be an increase in costs when the CPI is at 0.5% YTD (August) and BoE interest rates are at their lowest for 325 years? I believe this is down to greed and taking advantage of the current situation brought about by COVID 19 and nothing to do with an increase in costs. It’s shameful.
