A lovely spot to walk on a bright, chilly day, just a little muddy so take your wellies.
Today I have seen the following :- Holly Blue, male & female Brimstone, Speckled Wood, Meadow Brown, Large White, Red Admiral, Marbled White, & Small Tortoise Shell butterfies. Silver Y moth, hover fly, red damselflies blue damselfly. A lovely crop of wild raspberry.
Nice area but a bit boring, Farthing Downs and Happy Valley on the other side of Coulsdon Road is far better.
Nice place for a short walk
Beautiful Valley beside Coulsdon, the so called "Happy Valley"
