Smashing place! Great for truck spotters alike, unexpectedly visited yesterday to find truckload of Lorries. I know where I'm getting my next food shop! Rule Britannia!
Great airfield, but landing was a touch tricky owing to the trucks on the runway, hence only four stars.
Well controlled good security ready for those HGV Lorries off them motor ways.
Manston airport is a brilliant asset and its history dates back to WWI. Cant wait for it to reopen.
As a place steeped in history of the country from pre ww2 just what can I say but wow.
The place was on the front line of the defence of the country during ww2. Just what can I say but wow. The sights were awesome in the area. And the first time I went to the premises I got goosebumps all over.
Now as a tourist and a history nut like me this is a person who has been left speechless by the experience.
Highly recommended for a person to visit.
