We have the most enjoyable day here yesterday - what a fabulous place. It feels really professionally run but has such a lovely and relaxed vibe. The staff are all fantastic and everybody is really friendly. There’s a great mix of things to do from rides, play areas, and of course, the animals. My kids loved the pony rides in particular and the ride on tractors. The gourmet burgers and ice creams are excellent too. Very highly recommended and we will be back again soon!
Visited today with my 3 year old and 5 month old. Fantastic park with lots to see and well set out. Social distancing in place so felt very well looked after. Already planning on going back for the Halloween event. Highly recommended for a lovely family day out
I visited recently for some horse riding. The two ladies were great and managed to get us in the saddle and teach us some of the basics then we went out into some local woods. Great experience. I also enjoyed seeing the other animals on the farm. Apart from the weather a great day out.
So impressed with Matlock Farm Park. My daughter and son-in-law visited several weeks ago and had a lovely time there. They brought me back a jar of orange curd which is the best thing I have ever spread on my toast. Highly recommended!! 😋. It didn’t last long so I messaged the farm to see if they could post some more out to me. Just received 4 jars through the post. The staff were all so friendly on the phone and through messaging. Visit the farm and remember to try the orange curd!! 😊
Absolutely brilliant place to take children of all ages. Beautifully spacious and open, you can feed the animals, sit and have a picnic, play on the park or sandpit or on the day we went there was the bubble man who was fantastic!! The food and ice cream on the premises are fantastic quality and very fair prices. A must visit if you're in the area or want a place to take the family.
