Was unknown that the bridge was closed, but from what I've seen today it was lovely. The scene was gorgeous, upto 57 weeks of work. So it'll be worth wait.

I mean, ultimately this is a bridge. It's pretty cool to see suspension bridges this old and in use. And one side is Scotland and the other is England so that's cool. Narrow and not good for heavy vehicles (2t+) but other than that all good. Nice surroundings and allowed me some good drone footage.

This is World's oldest large suspension bridge (200 this year) out of use just now for refurbishment. Watching that work is great and the river is beautiful.

Great bridge in a great setting. Well preserved but will be undergoing restoration for approximately a year from October 2020

Interesting history and design. Beautiful setting. Soon to be closed for major repairs.
