Excellent food. Very delicious. Staff on the door was a bit rude. All the other staff was very helpful, caring and attentive. Food was beautifuly presented. All the dishes from starters to main course to sweets/desserts was extremely delicious. Would definitely visit again. They had plenty of parking on the back of the restaurant. Probably the only place where social distancing was properly on place and staff were making sure that it was being practiced.

Really nice restaurant. Lovely fancy decor. Food is great. Most restaurants like this starters are fab and mains are usually a let down. Not the case here. Starters are really tasty. Tried the chops, kebabs, somosas and wings and all were cooked nicely. Had a paneer dish for mains and a chicken karahi with naan and pilau rice. Portions for mains was very generous. Only a 4 star and not 5 as the pricing for starters for what you get is a little steep. 2 somosas and 2 kebabs per portion... but was tasty. Would come again if I'm in the area.

Overpriced shocking customer service! If I could have given zero stars I would have. Location, exterior and interior is amazing, very impressive entrance, good receptionist, will take you to the waiting area and ask your name to put down for waiting lists, amazingly assistant, free car par, that’s all nice things in this place. After that I found them very rude and ignorant. I was very disappointed 30 minutes waiting time to just get the menu we kept asking for menu and water but waiter kept forgetting 1 hour for food absolutely disgusting food service was rubbish, they’re not following rules for social distancing. No social distancing, exceeding capacity and low hygiene everywhere tissue and napkin on the floor. Worse toilets I have ever seen, they make millions of £ and can’t spend few thousand £ to improve washing area. Most disgusting toilets. Our mix grill was cold and then he took it and just warmed it up in the microwave, very overpriced they charged us more than the amount of food,.. The management have no consideration for their customers, hygiene or the community. No wonder the virus is continuing to spread with morons like this about, they just want your money. Look the pictures worse this washing are, spreading virus and multi diseases for this place. STAY WAY FROM THIS PLACE.

We tried the Tipu Sultan for the first time last night and the food was great, freshly cooked very tasty and well presented. The waiters were attentive and service overall was good. The restaurant looked to have been recently decorated. Overall a good meal and great value we will certainly be going back.

Very disappointed yesterday. We are regular customers of tipu Leicester. Always appreciated their food. Yesterday I ordered the food for my brother. Who was busy. Order was delivered and we put it straight away in fridge. Open it today . Two dishes were missing and third incomplete. We rang to complain and the person who received our call , was very rude and unprofessional. No to tipu sultan food any more.
