Absolutely fantastic restaurant. I was in Leicester on business and found myself in Oadby. Booked a table at Cheikho's and didn't regret my choice. Seafood marinara was sublime. The tiramisu was awesome. After the meal we spoke to one of the owners for a good half hour. We had a great conversation. I will definitely be going back on my next business trip to the area. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. I would give it 6 stars if I could.

Tasty food and really nice cosy, homely surroundings. My salmon was tasty, but the "home baked bread roll" that was served with my starter soup had one burnt part. Don't understand why this was served as it was clear to see by anyone. Initially gave 4 stars but have now decided to amend to 3 , due to the bread Manager/ waiter needs to be understand that when a customer presents a card for payment, he is not to take it away, to the counter, but, what he's meant to do is bring the card reader to the table for contactless payment. I've no Idea why he took the card away, and then after payment, gives a note of advice saying that we need to be careful of giving a card away for payment!!! He did this with another customer too.

Great food, manager was very polite, i have no negative remarks to make, authentic Italian food . Previously I had a negative experience, I take it back ,best Italian out of Italy

Beautiful food, atmosphere and A star service. A hidden gem, looking forward to coming back. Very generous portions, also a great range for vegetarians, bring your appetite! Thank you for a great evening

My partner and I went to Cheikhko’s last night for a mid week evening meal. I don’t even know where to start... It was fantastic!! The owner was such a lovely, friendly, funny gentleman that welcomed us at the door. We were seated at our quaint, candle lit table and ordered a bottle of wine. The food was unreal! We had the soup, the bruschetta, the salmon and the chicken. Followed by lemon cheese cake and a cheese board. I will go as far as to say, last night was one of the best meal I’ve ever eaten in my life! The entire evening was just sensational and I would recommend to everyone! We will be returning very soon. 6 out of 5!
