Can see there’s not a great deal of 5 star reviews for the Limehurst Post Office in these online reviews. Possibly because the Bargain Booze shop certainly isn’t ideally dimensioned and physically doesn’t lend itself to support the kind of queuing you get on PO busy days, for sure. But don’t forget that if Jay (the owner) hadn’t taken on the PO duties, there would no longer be somewhere for Duston people to transact their PO business in the Limehurst vicinity. It’s also worth noting that as Duston has now lost many of its former bank branch offices, the Limehurst PO has stepped in to bridge that gap and you can now do a lot of the banking stuff at the PO, like paying-in cash and cheques. Otherwise, have personally always found both the off-licence and PO to provide a decent enough service. They also have set themselves up as an an Apple Village (applevillage.co.uk) service point for those that need it. Give ‘em a break.

good service, not that cheap, post office takes absolutely ages and he shuts a lot earlier than the opening times state. If you want to go there make sure you turn up at least 1-2 hours before closing.
