Tons of space, lots of wildlife

I love coming here for walks with my daughter and my dog. We come most weeks sometimes more than once. My only gripe is that there are hardly any bins, I always pick up after my dog and can end up walking the whole way round with the bag until I get back to the car park. Not great when you also have a 2 years old with you.

Small car park so can get a bit difficult to park when it gets busy. Nice walking trails. Wish it was better sign posted as I got lost a few times 🤣 I enjoyed my visit here oh also need more bins to be dotted around- saw rubbish rather frequently but it’s shame as the park is nice.

Leicester's largest nature spot includes beautiful fields and wetlands. Wonderful pace to meet walkers as their dogs splash in the river. Wild blackberries abound and visitors can watch canal boats go through the locks. Excellent place to relax and escape city life

Nice, especially in the summer. Early mornings are great. Less crowded
