I went to visit, & was able to light a candle. Say prayers quietly by myself and take a photo of the Christmas tree. Had a lovely chat with Beryl.

It's come a long way since the revamp, a pleasing place to mull and meander about. A great area for a lunch break with a clean aesthetic and quiet vibe.

The cathedral is well maintained and nice and warm on a winter's day. Of course the big draw here is the tomb of Richard III and this was very respectfully done. Staff friendly and helpful. The only thing I would like to have seen extra was a little more background on Richard III and how they found him. I guess this is all covered in the nearby visitors centre but we gave that a miss because it's too expensive. Recommended.
