I was sold colour contact lenses that were not fit for purpose. The contact lenses i was charged for were samples with clear L and R sign on them on the colour ring. Extremely dry and uncomfortable. Being a contact lenses wearer for a decade, i knew I was taken for a ride. Unfortunately when i complained in store, there were lots of customers listening to the conversation and it was not convenient for the senior staff to openly admit they had made a mistake when she could clearly see the fake lenses herself. Instead of doing the right thing, she openly called me a liar in front of everyone. What she didn’t realise is that up to that date, i had spent hundreds of pounds In that store as a customer over the years. So, i took my business elsewhere. I also reported them to the Trading standards. I was sold a product not fit for purpose. The customer service i received was appalling. Anybody else would have at least apologised and done something to remedy the mistake they made.

After weeks of waiting for the appointment me and my husband had the check over our sight. Welcoming, testing went all smooth. My husband had his done and sorted, he was told about the offer and what he can have ( we are both on benefits). Me, when about to try the frames I was told only that I have a voucher but not mentioned about the amount. I've been showed some glasses. One of the models was exactly the same as I had 2y ago from Broughton. I choose the same frame for closer view and another one for distace. I was repeatedly ask about the voucher but I was asured she is aware about it. I was not🤷‍♀️ After all talk about my glasses I was told I have to pay £135? I asked what for. I was told for the frames, extras , because I have a condition that my sight doesn't stand the bright light and I need filters and are extra. The frames were expensive and I suppose to pay for them, but she told me after that the frames were for free had a red sticker on so if I would choose them I wouldn'thaveto pay. I felt so bad because of lack of communication and information from this lady side that I really felt embarrassed. After she told me the amount I told her that I do not have that money and I can not pay then and she told me that I have to come back and do the test again?!?🤷‍♀️ Never asked if I can pay, never asked if I want to use my old frames, never told how much was the voucher or how it works. I never been on benefits before and I do jot know all this. My husband was just near me at the next desk and when I told him that I am asked to pay he asked his lady how and what and when was just about to give me the answer the lady who served me told me in the end that she can hold the order couple of days when I will be able to pay. She maked me feel so small , embarrassed and I almost cried because she pushed me to pay. I am going to complain further because I wasn't felt right with miss Katy

Fantastic customer service, previously had an eye test at another opticians and really struggled with the prescription glasses from them. Made an appointment with Specsavers Wrexham,the customer service i received was absolutely fantastic, the young man who dealt with little issues i had with fitting and new Frames was extremely helpful and friendly also made sure that i felt comfortable within the store with social distances (thank you Robert) i would highly recommend Specsavers opticians.

Very strict Covid measures in place inside. Staff inside pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately kept waiting past appointment time, queueing outside the door along with many others including elderly people and unable to communicate with the very officious lady on the door.
