The lads were all very knowledgeable about their products and seem to work hard to get them. We bought 2 bottles of the Black Chalk, which was recommended & was superb. Will definitely buy from them again when we're back in the area.
What happens when you go to this shop to buy 8 cases of fine wine and1case of Cognac and needed 12 bottles of Champagne by a customer that a Millionaire who has just moved to the outskirts of Abergavenny’. And ask do you sell Spirits as well as Wine , And the Shop owner says wait outside ?

Great selection and the owner really knows his stuff. Helpful, and knowledgeable but not condescending - we explained the type of thing we were after and he found us some really impressive different wines to try. Can't want to go back and try out the wine bar when it can reopen
