Kadavumbagam Synagogue

The most beautiful place, being so painstakingly restored. Its a true haven from the seemingly chaotic streets outside. The colours inside are breathtakingly stunning and the glass chandeliers are exquisite. We visited last January and was shown round by the owner. He is doing the most amazing job and is looking after this superb most important historic building. Thank you so much for letting us see the synagogue again today. It truly is a very special place. Thank you

Beautiful restored synagogue in Cochin very well maintained. The entrance via a garden plant nursery and pet shop is very strange. Once you get past all of this you enter a very beautiful old synagogue. Unfortunately the synagogue is no longer in daily use. Had a fantastic chat with the curator and one of the few remaining Jews of Cochin

Must see place. Better to call before. Mr. Yosef Eliyahu is very kind and friendly. Entrance is inside the aquarium store.
