Concerned Dental Care - Upper West Side

Hands down one of the best dental experiences I've ever had! I was treated by Dr. Nina Lakhanpal & Francisca for two root canals (back-to-back) and they were both very patient with my frightened questions and gentle with the actual dental work. Aside from the technicians and dentists, everyone who is part of the front desk and billing staff is extremely friendly and helpful! They answer your questions thoroughly and very patient. I cannot thank the staff enough for their work and highly recommend them for anyone who needs to get dental work done.

Wasted my time! Please AVOID at all! The poorest customer service ever! Confirmed my appointment 4 weeks ago, got 3 text messages to confirm, 1 email, got a call from the office at 8am saying they didn't realize hygienist is out for lunch at 12pm and asked to rescheduled later or earlier in the day which i did and changed all my day plans, waited in reception area just to find out this affiliated office of another Concerned Dental Care don't take my insurance. No one bothered to triple check, no apologies and i just left after wasting hours of my day. JUST AVOID!

The first time I visited their offices was a great experience, in the following visits all the great dentist had left, then they started billing me for unexplained amounts. I kept calling to get an itemized bill but no answer and no callback, when I was finally able to speak to the manager, Jennifer, she refused to provide me with a detailed explanation of the bill and out of nowhere she gave me a "discount", that is how her assistant Rose called it. I tried to email the main office through their website but my email was rejected because "I was not part of the staff and that email was only for internal use".

This place has horrible administrative staff. I am stuck with a huge bill because they lack basic communication skills.

Horribly run office. They cancelled our appointments twice. The 1st ones were cancelled because they didn’t have hygienist scheduled. I rebooked on Christmas Eve since they were the only offered adjacent appointments available. I asked to confirm they’d really be open that day. “Do you want the appointments or not?” was the flippant, rude response. I got the call today, they are closed on the 24th. Go figure. Time to find a new dentist.
