Dr. Liu did my and my husband’s cleaning and gave me a filling. He did a great job! Highly recommend.

First visit there came in to check an issue with old root canal, the doctor was nice and sent me to an expert clinic to fix it. She also suggested a whitening service . I scheduled an appointment for few weeks after. A day before I get a call from the office telling me the doctor will not be in that day and we rescheduled for few days after. The day of the treatment I get a call telling me the doctor demands I have several other check ups, xrays etc to decide if she wants to do this whitening service. I told the person who called me that is feels like they are trying to charge by insurance for additional services and if it was a must they should have told me that in advance and not the day of the treatment. They refused to provide the service they offered if I would not accept the additional exams and charges first. I canceled my file there and I suggest to everyone to be advised.

I was raised on Long Island and for decades traveled back there to see a family dentist thinking that I couldn't afford a Manhattan dentist. Imagine my surprise when I found Dr. Shick who accepts dental plans and who is dedicated, caring and an outstanding dentist. Because he is so inclusive everyone seeing him has an opportunity for first rate dental care. He's the nicest person to see and talk with. I wouldn't go to any other dentist now.
