Came here on the recommendation of a co-worker after 2 dentists where I live in NJ failed to diagnose my painful tooth and I’m so glad I did. Dr Reit stayed past his closing hours to help me and had me come back the next morning ( from NJ) so he could work on my tooth more. He also called to see how I was ( do Dr’s still do that?), and as you can imagine, I simply cannot recommend him highly enough. I seldom write reviews, but this level of skill and kindness deserves one. He certainly made a difference in my life.

Great Dentist & better person. Truly cares about his patients and their experience with him. I've always been scared of the dentist and I have no issue going to Dr. Reit. Had a procedure done recently and my experience was great with him and his staff. If he tells you he's going to call you to check up on you, he's does that himself and NOT a staff member. Dr. Reit is one of good ones!!

I am a long time client of Dr. Reit. Office is clean and conveniently located in my neighborhood. I was in pain last year on New Year's Eve and the office was closed. Because I was in pain, he met me there and opened it for me. That really meant a lot to me. He really cares about his patients; he could have so easily said to me, sorry we are closed...but once the receptionist got my voicemail saying I was in pain, she called him and then called me right back and told me to meet him at the office. Who does that?! I was so very grateful to have the problem solved and be able to go to work that night NOT in pain, it would have been unbearable. I have had a lot of work done on my teeth in that office and he has referred me to other excellent providers when what I needed was not something his practice offered. Very nice to have a dentist and a practice I can trust, right here on the UES.

I used to go here for several years. Slowly the office would ask me to pre pay for services and want to reimburse me after my insurance had paid. The office was always slow and I would get calls 3 X a week 6 weeks prior to my 6 month cleaning to make an appt. It was convenient to get to from my home but the cleaning was standard. I had a surgery performed in the office after a lost crown (Dr. Reit didn't do it properly the first time) resulting in a jaw operation and the surgeon was so heavy handed it was a horrific experience. Dr Reit told me 'next time' how we would handle a procedure like that and that he 'learned on the job' as I had my jaw bone ground down. There was finally an issue with the receptionist (the wife) and I was asked to pre pay after being a patient and referring friends for 7 years. Find another dentist - they're a dime a dozen on the UES.

I honestly recommend anyone to come here. The staff and doctor were extremely friendly and patient, and I'm big on cleanliness and I loved that the office was so clean and well kept. Definitely a great experience coming here.
