the area was clean and quiet. the day I what's supposed to be the holiday but the festival was was cancelled but I got to go to the top and take pictures it was nice

This is actually nor the Black Star square. I call it the Freedom arena. It's a symbolic building that has the FREEDOM AND JUSTICE motto inscripted on. Built in honour of Queen Elizabeth II to symbolise Ghana's independence. Every Ghanaian needs a FREEDOM picture with the Ghana flag 🇬🇭 here.
