We started to communicate with Francis at the beginning of 2019 to customize a really meaningful experience for our students. Based on our objectives he proposed and organized a mix of educational, historical and fun activities and then delivered in spades. *** He’s attention to details and concern for our needs went above what was expected. *** He got our students the best prices and made sure they weren’t taken advantage of in the markets. *** He loves and supports his community like nothing else (all of our activities directly supported a small business or local community). *** He connected us with knowledgeable and expert guides at each site and took us off the beaten path to experience the Ghana of everyday people. *** He shared his inspirational entrepreneurial journey with us and showed the students they could achieve quite a lot with very little. *** From the customized backpacks and bracelets to his grandmother’s Shea butter we returned home with gifts big and small. *** However Francis’ biggest gift was himself... his warm heart, great personality and the bridge he built to connect us with ourselves and what had been stripped away centuries ago.
