Train Ticket from Tema to Accra costs 3GHS but this is the only line currently running.
Only on weekdays!
This is not the best option and seriously there is more room for improvement. Time to get to your destination as scheduled by the authority is not guaranteed so just get this in mind before you get on board. Every single thing here is poorly managed that’s their timing, ticketing system, maintenance of the train etc.
There is frequent break down of the train due to bad maintenance culture in the country. Is a very long journey but we will get there someday. Long live Ghana🇬🇭
Not wholly functional currently goes between only Tema and Accra. Train is sprayed in the national colors.
A good place though. But a bit noisy
Currently the cape gauge is going to be widened from Tema port to Akosombo.
It will be helpful for economic development in the region
