Seattle Aquarium

This awesome place is for all ages. Ocean creatures shapes, sizes, colors and sounds are adventure package this place has to offer. It's worth every dime spent. Kids love their day stay of fun and observe marine creatures. The uniquely arranged aquarium and color effects brings the magical water like you are under sea water. We definitely experience the underwater adventure without going under! They also have food court which offer variety of sumptuous meals. Highly recommend this place. If you are lucky you will see a scuba diver and a performer wearing mermaid costume dancing inside the big aquarium.

Place is a lot less busy than usual. All exhibits are open.

The entrance fee is worth it just for the otters.

I'm not sure if the aquarium has gotten smaller since I was a kid or if I just outgrew the aquarium but I remember it being a lot bigger and more impressive. My young kids(2 and 3 years old) seemed to really enjoy themselves. This is the first time in probably a decade I've been to an aquarium but I think I prefer the one in Point Defiance over the Seattle one.

We loved our visit!! All the staff were knowledgeable and friendly, and they all did a great job of regulating crowding in the more confined areas like the lava tube and the gift shop. We loved watching the sea otters and the river otters the most, but all the animals are fun to learn about! HOT TIP: look at the parking section on the Seattle Aquarium website for info on free parking! If the promotion is still active you can get 3hrs free parking if you park in the Pike Place Market parking garage on western ave and ask the guest services folks for the voucher as soon as you get into the aquarium. Saved us about $12 on parking!
