St. Agnes Library

Used to be a nice library, seems to have become more a homeless shelter. Hard to get past the acrid smell of stale sweat if you want to read or work from there.

Really quiet on the 3rd floor. If you’re nearby, can you feel my presence right now? I’m wearing a yellow hat. I think I can sense you. Yeah you. Your name starts with an “H”

Nice architecture and in a scenic part of town.

Different writing workshops and other series of activities and events through their library campus including poetry.

So this may not be as swanky or spacious as some of the other libraries in the city, but it’s a lovely neighborhood joint with the nicest staff. Could do with a bit more policing of people feeding little ones in the library but that’s really the worst of it. Haven’t been to any of the storytimes so I can’t speak to that!
