Overall a fantastic place to stay for peace and quiet. Only downer was no evening meal available. Had to either bring something back from Dunsborough or Yallingup or eat out. Also, first room the spa didn't function. To offset this they provided breakfast and relocated to another room, spa worked.
Overall, the lodge was very comfortable, peaceful and private.
Great place for a romantic getaway. The location and views were incredible. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast we ordered was so good. The chablis room was really nice and comfy. The spa on the balcony with the views of the trees was the best way to end the day. We also got the signature massage from the om spa I would definitely recommend it was so relaxing.
We stayed one night. The retreat was a bit confusing. The entrance to reception wasn't clearly marked with a path, a sign led us over grass. The room decore was modern/mismatched boho. The place had a cabin winter church camp mixed with hippie feel. It was very quiet, no children and this was relaxing. You can order breakfast, but not dinner. It'd be nice if they had a list/pamphlet with dinner options as we had to work this out from surrounding areas ourselves.
The 'spa' was a large tub on our deck with only 4 jets, a bit disappointing. The pool was huge, with an assortment of giant pool toys. There is a BBQ, and cutlery/microwave in common areas, but we didn't discover the microwave until leaving.
The room itself was large with a beautiful view of treetops. The TV in our room was massive. Reception staff were very friendly. It was a good place for a couple's retreat during the peak summer season where other places likely were full of kids.
I'm not sure I'd stay again. My husband enjoyed it and would go again.
Stayed here for my birthday and very disappointed. The swimming pool is very very yucky. Lots of alive bugs and dead cockroaches in the water. The toilet sometimes stinks when no one is using it. Bath tap is falling off. Even the rubbish bin is broken.
Wonderful place to spend a winters night, relaxing in the rooms private outdoor spa whilst watching the rain, even the possums pop in for a visit. Our spa treatments were gorgeous and the breakfasts were delicious.
