Colonial Park Cemetery

Very beautiful and very old cemetery to visit. Well worth the visit and walk around the park. A lot of history there and dates back to late seventeen hundreds.

A must visit. They do a good job on taking care of this old cemetery. AND please, people, teach you kids to have some respect.

I love this place so much. It's so interesting walking around the stone time capsules from the beginning of our country's history. Highly recommend slow-walking the whole site with a drink and a friend. It's a slightly macbre but beautiful space.

If you love history this is a great place to visit. Unfortunately during the time General William T. Sherman occupied the city the Union Army used the cemetery to house horses. A lot of the tomb stones were damaged. They are now lined up on the wall of the cemetery. I visited Colony Park Cemetery before I moved to Savannah. It's still a great place to visit

A must-see when visiting Savannah. Full of history and appreciation for those were the foundation of our country.
