Coconut Grove Bridgehouse

Very reasonably priced, minimalist hotel, with a great view of the comings and goings of the local people. We were given a room with a broken window, which meant not so good smells from the street the first night. However, they readily agreed to switch us the second night, no problem. This is not for those that want a quiet out of the way spot. It's a functional place in the heart of things. If you want to be close to the people and don't require much beyond clean and safe, this is the spot.

Very acceptable hotel. Good AC. Food selection somewhat limited, although staff made a valiant effort and it was very tasty! Bed was quite sufficient. Hotel has good proximity to the very lively fish market. You can sit on the upstairs covered deck and watch the fishing boats and people of all walks coming and going. Best people watching early and late. Easy walk to Elmina Castle.

Hustle and bustle of the beach, neat rooms with excellent services. Walking is the best

Wonderful stay, great location, right in the center and very close to the sight-seeing attractions (castles and cementery). They offer to keep your valuables secure. They can put you in touch with local guides and offer excursions to the good places in the area. They will also give you a voucher to go to the beach/pool at their sister location at coconut grove hotel.

Not the cheapest hotel/restaurant and food selection is limited. But overall nice place and great view over the harbor und Elmina Castle.
