I never thought I could have an experience so unique and profound while peaceful all at the same time!! It's honestly hard not to relax here and take in nature's true beauty. I have met some wonderful people that I cannot wait to see again!! Truly, Meet Me There is a wonderous meeting place for all walks of life. A true oasis in a world full of obstacles. Gratitude wouldn't even begin to express how I feel about those who dedicate themselves to this great non-profit. If you've been on the fence about going...please hop on over!! TRUST ME, THE GRASS IS DEFINITELY GREENER!!!

After two years in Ghana we are convinced that Meet Me There is unrivaled on the coast for its peacefulness, friendly staff, wonderful side projects. The upkeep is spotless, the garden like Eden, the cocktails delicious, the morning yoga on the deck facing the sun simply unique. Thank you !!

For the rooms and food we got value for our money. The bathroom had musty smeel that could have been fixed with lime or the local scent called "Canfa" we use at home for musty bathrooms. The smoke Tilapia, Kaklo (fried over ripe plantain), palais and shrimp okro with banku were very good. The breakfast and a few others I tried on the menu, were not nice. The kitchen staff were the most friendest, Irene and Vincentia. The rules and restrictions were too much, just to mention a few. I respected that we couldn't not eat in our rooms, but not being able to eat our porch was too much. Even though it was respectully suggested that we were to dress appropriately in town, they also meant the hotel too. So wearing bathing suit and swimming felt like we were breaking the rules because it was also indicated that we should dress appropriately even at the bar, right on the water. There were barely any activities to indulge in. The bonfire on our second night lasted less than 30 mins. The boat ride from there to Ada, Paps beach was only value for money, considering we shared with 17 other people, hence we paid 15.00 cedi per person instead of 250.00 for the entire ride. This is because the fact that the actual trip was 1hour 30 mins and the boat was a speed canon (the big size) and not an actual boat, 250.00 cedi per trip without others to split with would have been too much. Naming the canon, a boat felt like false advertising to me. I don't mind riding on a canon, considering I have done so many times, but let's call it what it is. Also considering there was not enough activities, the beach we were taken for refreshments during the boat ride should have had activities and be a little clean like those on that stretch. On a more positive note, the place will be the perfect for writers and people wanting to think or wanting peace and quiet. Not for couple or certainly friends.

The views exceeded expectations and the lodge was set-up for us to enjoy nature in daily living. Dougal and Christian, the managing directors, were a joy to meet. Both gentlemen brought lots of knowledge of the local culture and environment. Being able to greet the ocean each morning at dawn started my day with peace and joy. Another visit to MMT in the future is a given.
