Great place to take the kids. Not as big as I remember, but still worth the membership. I like the scheduled visits as it's now not as crowded like it used to be. Very nice variety of sea life. Our little one was done with her experience before we could see any shows etc. But I know we'll be back. Definitely worth a visit. Check out the awesome pic I took of the penguin.
My family and I had a wonderful time. Staff was very friendly and made sure that while in close quarters areas that families were 6 feet a part. Kids loved that they could pet some marine life! The hippos was a huge hit! Loved the entire experience! Will definitely go again!
We took a family trip here just to get out of the house. It was very fun. My family enjoyed themselves. My favorite part was probably the shark tunnel. I also really liked watching the hippos eat, it's crazy how big they are. They have a lot of animals and pretty cool exhibits. The only thing I didn't like was the food. It's way overpriced and not all that good. But other than that we had a great time and will be back soon.
We hadn't been to the aquarium since the kids were 3 -- almost 9 now. They loved it!!! They were excited/nervous to enter the tunnel and see the sharks swimming overhead. We had never been on the bridge over the shark tank and had to cross it numerous times because it was so fun. The funniest was them getting up the nerve to touch the animals in the "Touch Tanks". Will definitely go again.
We went in the morning with our 15mo old daughter and had a great time! Loved seeing the hammerhead, sea turtles, and hippos. The shark tunnel was not impressive compared to other aquariums, but the ray petting area was definitely the best I’ve seen. It does start to feel crowded as the day goes on - recommend going first thing in the morning if you want to have your space and avoid people.
