Armed Forces Museum

This museum has a lot of history of the Ghanian armed forces.You will find the jet personally used by Rawlings, different types of war instruments,weapon's, military cars and trucks,fighter jets , helicopters used by the Ghanian Army, Navy and Air force. There are dungeons where prisoners were kept,photos of weapon's,war clothes from in Ghana and other Africans countries where the armed forces has gone for peace keeping mission. This should be one of the first place you should see anytime you are opportuned to pass through Kumasi.

An environment of total historical architecture engulfed with excellent hospitality

This is a great place to visit. It's full of history, the guide was incredibly knowledgeable about each part of the fort. Most artifacts you can touch. Old guns and many pictures of past and present C + Cs which is interesting. Old prisons and hidden gold! Enjoy your visit.

Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and shared a lot of history I wasn't aware of! It's also amazing to see the site of so much recent local history.

The place is a great historical ground for those who are interested in studying what actually went on in the Ghana arm Forces, True story of Heroes of Ghana (Gold Coast). You will love it much more when you visit there
