I love camping there it's very remote and you can enjoy complete solitude and enjoy nature as it used to be there's lots of wildlife and the views are spectacular fishing is awsome. If you like taking pictures there's no better place 8n the country for photo opportunities lots of birds and scenery deer elk bear..
Really enjoy camping back in the woods
Wonderful public land that allows camping, fishing, hunting, hiking, and so much more. So glad to have this gorgeous forest at our fingertips. Incredible views, so many animals!
Hunting in the rockies right next to here. If anyone wants a good time hunting elk and mule deer contact bear creek outfitters and ask for drew. Wach out for MOUNTAIN LIONS
The best forest in the best county! Visitors not welcome! J/K, it's vast with so many areas to explore! I've lived on Gunnison for over ten years and have barely scratched the surface. Come to play, ride, camp, or just take a scenic drive. Well maintained areas and plenty of camping in the most surreal places!!
