Looking for a place to eat that was a little more comfortable then some of the small eateries in the old quarter and a nice review convinced me to try. Found the restaurant cozy and unassuming, even managed to sit on their little balcony overlooking the busy street. Had stewed beef and seafood salad with green mango. I just want to say i was totally thrown for an unexpected experience. I have tried seafood salads around the world trying to find one that came even close to a wonderful calamari salad i once had in Venice some 25 years ago. Out of the blue in the most unexpected place, here, i found something wonderful enough to compare. With fresh, tender calamari and a wonderful mix of shreded vegetables and herbs along with a mild dressing, i can finally say, after a quarter century, this salad made the grade. Thank you whoever prepared it. One tiny aspect and search in my life has been satisfied ☺ I would give 5 stars but the restaurant could be a bit cleaner and they over charge for water of all things... at the same time our waitress told us we could have as much rice as we needed. Either way, you must give this place a try! I'll always remember it.
