I love the atmosphere Chim Sáo gives me. The place is antique and peaceful. Food was great. Remind me of dishes that I used to have when I was living with my grandma. Even though some dishes are little too sweet for my liking. Overall I highly recommend the place for people who want to experience the taste of a traditional Vietnamese meal.
Sausage entrée was ok. Garlic eggplants were ok too. Pigeon lacks taste. Rice wine made me happy.
I love this place. I visited it 3 years ago and now; all is the same. Nice atmosphere, good quality, perfect food, reasonable prices.
Some of the best food I have had in Vietnam. Only downside is being slightly expensive compared to traditional food, BUT you definitely get your money's worth
We went to this restaurant on our second day in Vietnam. Chim Sao has all good northern Vietnamese dishes and they are really tasty too.
The bathroom is a bit messy and dirty but that is common in Hanoi.
We went to this restaurant with 2 persons and ordered 4 dishes. We got a lot of food. I think that a person can eat 1 dish each best so to taste everything it is better to come in a bigger group
