Just wanted to say a big thanks to Matt and Ben from Inner West Locksmith. I have a 2012 Suzuki GSXR600 and needed a spare key cut and coded. I was given the spare blank key by a friend, but neither of us were sure it had a transponder. I took it to Procycles in Hornsby as they were a official Suzuki dealership. Believed they had the tools and skills to do the job, which I believe should have been simple. Came back an hour later to find out my OEM key wouldn't work anymore as my ECU is now "FRIED" and they blamed in on the "dodgy blank key". I felt this was poor craftsmanship as they blamed it on me and the "dodgy key". The owner who I was dealing with didn't know how to get my ECU back to original order. Stressed out, I couldn't trust this guys anymore, had my bike picked up and returned it home. A friend recommended me Inner West Locksmith. Spoke to Matt, who promised they would only do the job if were certain they could guarantee the work done. Took his word and dropped off the ECU on Friday morning. 5 minutes later as I'm walking back to my mates car, I get a call saying it's not "FRIED". Just stuck in programming mode and my "dodgy blank key" had no issues, but was simply missing a transponder. Monday morning, I receive a call from Rodger to tell me, they've fixed it. Got the OEM key and the blank key working. They just need to put the ECU back together since they needed to open it up to fix the issue. Advised it'll likely be ready Tuesday morning or afternoon. Ben called me back at 10AM as he was the tech who worked on the job. Confirmed everything is set to go. Job was apparently quite easy to him. Asked him about a possibility of 3rd key as well which he said yes. Arrived 11AM and had my ECU + 3 keys cut/coded. Returned home, plugged in my ECU. Tested all 3 keys and LO AND BEHOLD. My motorcycle starts up. What should have been a simple job costed me more that what it should've. That a official dealership of my motorcycle make couldn't get a simple job done whereas professional locksmiths made it simple. Would highly recommend Inner West Locksmiths and will go back there to have any keys cut for all my motorcycles in future. Hassle free and reliable.
