quite nice but difficult to park the car. no parking space for special needs, e.g. small children or wheelchairs. the tourist-trap restaurants at the harbor are surprisingly good and reasonably priced. (wondering how long this will stay this way, sample size n=1, pizzeria). Very good for small children younger than 5: the big marling glass floor semi-submarine.

A must to visit, it’s about an hour fro Rijeka but a must see, and from old town of Krk and continue to bashka beach which is also a must. The beach is calm the water was not that cold and it’s very friendly to kids.

Gorgeous small town in the middle of the island Krk. Its perfect for romantic night walk.

Beautiful old town. Not big, but well preserved and presented. Most important places, streets and buildings have English information signs attached. You can find ancient roman temples as well as mediaevel buildings, castles, monasteries.
