This is a first "5-star" hotel that we literally ran out from. I have staid in 3-star hotel that looked better. Hotel is really outdated, the strong smell od diesel runs through the ground level, bed is really uncomfortable and the food is mediocre to say the best. TV doesn't work, as well as surround sound, the air-condition is so loud that you have to turn it down if you want to get any sleep. Not worth the money, and you can find much better hotels in Opatija than this one. Someone should really think to downgrade this hotel from 5 stars to 3 at the current condition. Two stars are just for the location.
